Reply:There%26#039;s some special nail polish out there that you can buy at Wal-Mart or any ol%26#039; place that specifically says it%26#039;s to lengthen and strengthen your nails within a matter of days or weeks. But if you live in a cold area, or it%26#039;s in the cold months, your nails, much like your hair, will grow slower. The warmer the weather is, the faster your nails grow. Not significantly, though. So don%26#039;t depend on the weather alone. Look at that polish. :)

Reply:Nail growth, like hair growth and height is sort of a genetic thing so if they are getting to a certain length and stopping, that might be why. If they peel or tear or are weak, you can encourage healthy growth by using a nail hardener. Nailtiques has a few different kinds for different problems. Nailtek is the generic and works just as well and is about half the price. Also, don%26#039;t use your nails as tools.
