How do I go from my current hair to be more "scene/emo"?

Yeah I know, seems like everyone is trying to achieve the hair...


I got it cut a little by my hair dresser... i%26#039;m not sure if she said she%26#039;d make it more %26quot;emo%26quot; next time i go or what... but what%26#039;s an easy way to make this:

i would like to accomplish this in a few weeks, if not less...


i might be able to buy hair extensions but what color?... ok, what i really mean is, how do I get the bangs to look right? and how many hair extensions do i have to put in? Where do i put them?





also, should i put black pencil eyeliner and dark eyeshadow on ? or would everyone laugh at me at school? no one in my school is %26quot;emo%26quot;... they%26#039;re mostly all preps... except me.

get it thinned out at the ends, get short choppy layers at the top and keep your end length plus a swooping side bang.





do you really want to pay 500+ for extensions?, i wouldnt at all, just keep what length you have because most scene hair can work at being just below the shoulders (like you have).


maybe a dark brown? ask your hairdresser to see what colour would look best, and just bring in pictures to show her what you want.

Reply:Get a ceramic straightener and get your hair cut and dyed. Layered and let them use a razor. Get it dyed and highlighted with some colors. Side bangs that go over one eye. Hair extensions...eh, maybe.

Oh...you DON%26#039;T want to be laughed at? Because following any trend just to follow a trend is laughable...always. It doesn%26#039;t matter if you want to be preppy or emo. If you%26#039;re jumping on the bandwagon, then you need to reassess your priorities. I assure you, though. If you don%26#039;t care about what others think (and seriously, you shouldn%26#039;t, because no one gets to control your life except for you), then the only one who will be laughing will be you once you%26#039;re over this phase.
