Should I accept this job offer?

I%26#039;ve been filling out a bunch of job applications for a variety of places, including waitressing, receptionist positions, administrative assistant positions, and the like, and while I%26#039;ve had a few responses to my apps as well as interviews, I%26#039;ve consistently had much difficulty in actually finding somewhere that will hire me due to my age -- I%26#039;m only sixteen, although my skills, maturity level, and abilities all belie my birthdate.

I%26#039;ve been employed through a work-study program for the past four years, but really need a better job since I%26#039;m still receiving minimum wage and my hours have been severely cut back due to budget constraints and the way that the program is set up (it%26#039;s absolutely not a reflection of the work that I%26#039;m capable of performing, as I consistently receive praise for my ingenuity and work ethic).

I hope to study medicine and eventually become a pediatric surgeon, so I really wanted to get a job that will give me further exposure to the discipline.
Should I accept this job offer?
Not doing anything at all will look even worse on your resume.
Should I accept this job offer?
it won%26#039;t look bad and at 16 i don%26#039;t think you would get a job related to surgery
Reply:I don%26#039;t see anything wrong with the job you described. everybody does what work they need to do when going to school, etc. Besides, you said you would learn new skills, which will be helpful in your future.
Reply:Go for it! Taking a job that differs from your chosen profession will give you backup skills (always handy), and show that you are a multi-functional person, if you get what I mean. It shows you want to learn.

If anything health-related comes your way, pick it up, but meanwhile, this sounds like a really good opportunity. So call up that relative!
