Reply:I%26#039;m a licensed nail tech, and I%26#039;ll tell you this much. Acrylic nails are much more difficult to apply properly than you think. It%26#039;s not a matter of going to Walmart and buying an $8 kit and going home and doing your nails. If you want to learn how to do acrylic nails, I suggest taking a formal training program and learning how to do them the right way. I know that%26#039;s not what you want to hear, but it%26#039;s the plain truth. It takes years to become highly skilled. Sure, the discount salons that so many people go to will do your nails in like a half hour. But those places are filled with unskilled techs. So yeah, they make it look easy because they aren%26#039;t doing it correctly, nor are they using high quality products. They pretty much just slop the acrylic on and then shape it and get you out the door as fast as possible. It%26#039;s nothing more than an assembly line process at those salons.
My advice is not to attempt this yourself without first attending a formal nail training program. That%26#039;s my answer, and I%26#039;m sticking to it, LOL!

I thought they were the same. Usually anything called just tips only lasts about a week. Acrylics cause damage to your nails, but mine has only taken at most 2 weeks to grow out and back to normal once their off.

ok a couple months ago i made a question about a girl who i thought was perfect and had such a perfect body and she made me feel like crap n stuff.... the thing is that it was like 4 months ago.. and now the girl i couldnt stand cause her body was perfect is now pregnant and i feel slightly satisfied and relieved because her body wont look perfect anymore (she got really chunky now)

Reply:well anyone with confidence thinks they are pretty reguardless if u think they are ugly or not lol. havent u ever heard beauty is in the eye of the beholder...u may not thing they are pretty but someone out there thinks they are extremely beautiful msot likely...i think im pretty. i mean i dont think in the hotest girl in town but i think im pretty. and why did u ask how can they look in the mirror and think they are pretty...well because again beauty is in the eye of beholder...people ask how they can look better because they want specifics as in what kind of make up what colors to use, how to do it...since make up and hair techniques are a learned skill. no one is born with that skill...and that sometimes people dont have the best of confidence and they are more of looking for guidance. all u can do is be patient with them. its not their fault that they cannot see different. ur rantings remind me of my lil cousin lol. its all good tho just understand that ur opinion, though u truely believe is the right thing, may not be in someone elses mind.

people need to love themselves and stop worrying about what others think and instead worry about school work/ or job/ maybe family. anything but trying to fish for compliments on yahoo answers.
people need to stop. and yahoo answers needs to monitor this more.
there are people out there that need answers to real problems.
if people are so desperate to fish for compliments then they should just leave the country or something because AMERICA already has enough of these people anyway.

I am 16 also, and am looking for a job. There is not many stores that hire at 16, but kmart it one of them. I was hoping to get a job at petco but they hire at 17.
But this is in Washington. So it all depends on where you live. you can get contact info from the store website, and email them and ask.
